The Vorstadttheater is one of Basel’s lesser-known theatres, located at the upper end of Wettsteinbrücke near the Kunstmuseum. Since its start in 1974, the small theatre has always presented plays that are suitable for people of all ages, ranging from adaptations of children books to Shakespeare. This Saturday, 18th November, marks the final performance of the newest production «The House»: It tells the story of an elderly woman in a mansion who is visited by two burglars one fateful night. Secrets are uncovered, and a diabolical plan is taking shape…
