When the aluminium factory of Münchenstein closed down in 2004, the premises were renovated and are now home to various artists, architects, and start-up companies. Every late November, this “Walzwerk” industrial area lights up with stars, fir trees, and candles: The “Bazar de Noël” is a special Christmas market that offers insight into crafts and the creation of art, but also gives information on social causes and culture in general. Of course, there are also culinary delights awaiting visitors.
The Bazar de Noël will be open this weekend on Saturday from 11am to 6pm and on Sunday from 11am to 5pm. More information (in German) is available here: https://www.walzwerkkultur.ch
